I help candidates, causes, businesses, and families cut through the noise, with straight talk, hard work, and a strategy built around you. Advocacy and service, start to finish.

Pick the one that fits and I'll show you where to start.
Whether it's school board or the statehouse, I'll help you build the plan: message, money, field, and the day-to-day of managing a campaign. I've done it from the field up, and I've been on the ballot myself.
Practical help with planning, proposals, and a website that brings people in, in plain English, built for owners who'd rather be running their business.
Issue and ballot campaigns need the same discipline as a candidate's race: a clear message, a coalition, and a plan to reach people where they are.
I'm working toward a family law system that puts children and families first. If you're facing family court, start with the guide, and reach out any time.
What I do

How I work
A maverick doesn't follow the herd. Every campaign, business, and family starts with a lot of moving pieces: ideas, worries, opinions, deadlines. My job is to pull them together into one solid plan, then do the work to see it through. That's the bull in our logo: scattered dots on one side, one solid shape on the other.
Every idea on the table, including the ones nobody else wanted to hear.
Find what actually moves the needle and cut what doesn't.
Turn it into one clear, written plan you can stand behind.
Execute it with you: doors, calls, proposals, pages, whatever it takes.

A plain-language overview to help you get your bearings. Every situation is different. This is general information, not legal advice.
Colorado's courts publish step-by-step instructions and forms for family law cases. Starting there helps you understand the process and the paperwork before making big decisions.
A case starts when a petition is filed with the court, and the other party is formally notified. The court's self-help pages explain the forms and deadlines for each step.
Both sides generally exchange information about income, expenses, property, and debts. Gathering statements early makes this step much easier.
When children are involved, parents work out a parenting plan covering time with each parent and decision-making. Many courts also require a parenting class. Keeping the focus on your kids' stability goes a long way.
Many families resolve some or all issues by agreement, often with a mediator's help. The court then reviews the agreements and issues final orders.

About
I'm a Colorado native, raised in Arapahoe County by a strong family and a community of educators, coaches, and neighbors who gave me a lot. I grew up working in two small family-owned businesses, so I learned early how hard it is to build something and keep it going.
I earned a B.S. in Political Science, with a minor in Public Affairs, from Metropolitan State University of Denver. After college I worked on statewide and congressional campaigns, then spent three years at the State Capitol as a legislative aide, working on education, business, workforce, and more, and building relationships on both sides of the aisle. In 2022 I ran for the State House in my hometown district.
When people ask why I do this work, my answer is simple: it's the greatest way to help people. That's why I started Maverick Consultants in 2020, and it's why I advocate for supporting families and children through a better family law system. I'm a proud father to two amazing daughters.
